Do you go to SVP or SVPCA? Your book should have definitely been at this year's meeting!

Thanks.... But even if the SVP this year is closer than ever (Paris---->Bristol), I can't. But the author maybe.
:iconstringoflights:
Yeah, I'm in Bristol now. Quite a ways from Florida! The conference was huge but it went really well. It was nice to meet the SVPCA people, although the logistics of combining the two are really difficult with so many people. It looks like they're going to try to hold SVP outside the US (or North America perhaps) every five years or so.

Ha good news. I hope they'll come in Paris one day...
:iconstringoflights:
Perhaps they will. An institution in Paris would have to offer to host it though, so I think it'd probably be the Museum national d'Histoire naturelle. Did I get the name right? It's been a while!

The downside is that it's very expensive for the vast majority of people going because most of SVP's members are in the U.S. If it's infrequent it's not too bad though, and I don't mind the excuse to travel. :)
