If sea-birds are colored that way now, it makes sense a creature filling a similar niche way back then would be colored similarly. Neat.

Although Pterodactylus itself was more of a shorebird analogue than a seagull/albatross/gannet/whatever one. I guess a brownish colouration would be more realistic?

Looks a bit too smudgy for my liking - it could do with being sharpened up to the detail of the photo.

In fact, pterosaurs aren't dinosaurs at all, though they all died at the same time. There were no flying dinosaurs (except, of course, birds). :reading:
