Wonder if the "wings" helped it land nicely in that kinds of situations. Yet too tiny.

Wow. I see those "terrible claws"! I remember deinonychus because I used to have a children's tape of dinosaur songs "Wee Sing Dinosaurs, and they had a song about deinonychus. I think the tenontosaurus might actually win this though.

But man, you made the deinonychus look amazing with the black and the white and the feathers! :bulletblack::bulletwhite::bulletblack::bulletwhite::bulletblack::bulletwhite::bulletblack::bulletwhite::bulletblack:

Is that one...flying? Or did he just get whacked with that tail?

This is awesome. Most dynamic tenontosaur vs Deinonychus depiction I've seen yet.

A classic scene. I remember seeing renditions of Tenontosaurus vs Deinonychus in virtually every (newer) dinosaur book I picked up as a kid.

Great job.

It's always great to see a pic where the prey is shown capably fighting back. Especially poor old Tenontosaurus.

Astonishing job! I like the whole drawing and the concept, despite not being a fan of either pack hunting theory or 70kg predators attacking 2 ton animal. ;)

Awesome picture! :wow: Is the background drawn or is it a manipulated photo?
Love the coloration you gave the Deinonychus! Also a very realistic scene between predator and prey, as most hunts ends up with the predator losing since the predator just fights for a meal, while the prey fights for it's life.

Really impressed by the poses and sense of motion present in all four animals. Beautiful work. I'm having trouble telling whether parts of the background (mostly the clouds but the trees to some degree also) are hand-painted or integrated photographs.
